  • This static site is hosted on GitHub Pages and contains no analytics scripts, ads, or third-party tracking;
  • We do not collect or store any personal information about visitors;
  • Access data (such as GitHub’s server logs) is handled by GitHub in accordance with its own privacy policy.

KL Profile (macOS, iOS, and iPadOS App)

Data processing and collection

  • Coffee details, roasting parameters, flavor goals, and curve calculations are processed only on your device and are not uploaded to the developer;
  • The app does not require an account and contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking. It does not collect usage statistics, device identifiers, or location data;
  • The app does not use developer-operated servers and does not transmit your imported or generated .kpro files to the developer.

File access and sharing

  • On macOS, generated .kpro files are saved only to locations you choose. When you authorize a Kaffelogic Profile folder, the app stores a security-scoped bookmark on your device so it can continue to access that folder;
  • On iPhone and iPad, the app uses the system file picker to open .kpro files you explicitly select and the system share sheet to export generated files;
  • If you choose iCloud Drive or another third-party file provider when opening, saving, or sharing a file, that service may process the file under its own privacy policy. KL Profile does not independently upload the file to the developer.

Local settings and In-App Purchases

  • The app stores a small amount of preference data on your device, including a local cache of the Flavor Adjustment unlock state. These settings are used only to provide app functionality;
  • When you view the product, purchase, or restore Flavor Adjustment, the app communicates with the App Store through Apple StoreKit;
  • Apple processes payments, purchase history, and transaction verification. The developer does not receive or store your payment-card details;
  • Purchase entitlements may be synchronized by the App Store across your Mac, iPhone, and iPad when they use the same Apple Account.
  • Help, privacy-policy, GitHub, and other external links open in the system browser and are then governed by the destination site’s privacy policy.

kpro-tools

  • The Python tool runs locally, does not upload input data, and does not collect usage statistics;
  • Generated .kpro files are saved only to locations you choose.

Data retention, control, and deletion

  • Local preferences and folder authorizations remain on your device until you clear the app’s data, revoke the relevant permission, or the operating system removes them;
  • Apple manages the Flavor Adjustment purchase record. You can use Restore Purchases in the app to verify the entitlement again;
  • Exported or saved .kpro files are not part of the app’s internal data and must be deleted manually from their saved locations;
  • KL Profile does not store personal data on developer-operated servers, so there is no cloud account or user profile that you need to ask the developer to delete.
